Spinning the Sensor Web - 52°North Sensor Web Workshop 2.0

52°North invites Sensor Web enthusiasts to join the 52°North Sensor Web Workshop 2014. The 2 day workshop takes place in Muenster on December 4 & 5, 2014 and focuses on establishing an overview of current and planned Sensor Web projects and activities. Participants meet to share their experience gained from Sensor Web activities and to identify next research and development steps.

52°North’s Sensor Web Community holds yearly workshops to streamline the focus of the community. During the first day of the workshop, participants present current projects and planned activities, as well as review past projects. Together they discuss plans for 2015 and revise the existing road map accordingly.

The second day provides an opportunity for break out sessions. Participants will decide together which topics to discuss. Possible topics comprise client development, event notification technology, coupling Sensor Web with data processing tools, domain specific topics such as hydrology, air quality, oceanography.

It is possible to attend both days or only one. If you would like to attend the workshop, please contact Dr. Simon Jirka ([hidden email]). Please mention if you would like to give a short presentation about Sensor Web related work.

Please find more information (location, logistics, agenda) here:

Of course you are encouraged to share this invitation with interested colleagues
