Standard password still usable after modification

Daniel Henzen
Hi,

i just wanted to know whether the following issue is a bug or i did something wrong:
i have installed the wps binaries version 3.3.1 [1] and to secure the admin console i have changed the standard password for user "wps" in the users.xml file as described here [2].
After restarting Tomcat, both logins are available: user "wps" with my new password AND also user "wps" with the standard password.

Re: Standard password still usable after modification

Hi Daniel,

The configuration page is a bit outdated, I am afraid. You will have to comment out the SingleUserLoginModule in the security-config.xml to disable the standard login.

Cheers,

Benjamin
