wps-js supporting authorization

GCoro
We have built a WPS service that requires authentication in order to get service capabilities and to execute the processes:

http://dataminer1-d-d4s.d4science.org:8080/wps/WebProcessingService?service=WPS&version=1.0.0&request=GetCapabilities

The service works well with QGIS, which opens a form asking for authentication before doing any interaction with the service.

Nevertheless, it seems to me that wps-js does not support connection to services with authentication.
Is there currently a way to manage it? Otherwise, which is you plan to support it?

Thank you,
Gianpaolo

What kind of authentication?

wps-js currently uses OpenLayers for connecting to WPSs, so you could
probably make things work if OpenLayers supports it.

We currently do not have any funding for this feature, but you are very
welcome to create an issue on GitHub describing the problem/feature:

Thank you for the answer, we use http basic authentication:

We believe that in the future, most WPS services will have users access control. We work with e-Infrastructures, thus for us this is already mandatory, also to manage usage accounting.
